The Bearded Bladesmith

Lenny LaFrance is a born and raised Michigander. Currently, he resides in Frankenmuth, Michigan with his wife, Emily, and his two children, Evan and Lucille. Lenny has been blacksmithing full time since March 2022, and is a Bavarian Blacksmith Alum. He considers himself a “Jack of all Trades” and enjoys learning and refining his making skills. Lenny loves working different steels, especially Damascus, and specializes in make hunting, survival, and tactical blades for end users. His favorite part of working steel is seeing the process step by step, from dull shapeless steel, to that first satisfying slice after sharpening.
